Tom Lillie has been in the lighting industry for more than 20 years. He started in the industry with
Holtkötter, a manufacturer of fine German lighting. While there, Tom worked as a National Sales
Manager, managing sales reps and distributors. His rapid rise within the organization led to his
promotion as President. Under Tom’s direction, the company prospered. With a dedicated sales force
and management team under his leadership, in addition to several design awards, Tom earned
Holtkötter national recognition by The ARTs Award for the Best Lighting Manufacturer of 2015.
In 2016, WAC recruited Tom as Director of Business Development for Modern Forms. True to form,
Tom’s rapid advancement led him to become Director of Sales for the Specification channel for both
WAC and Modern Forms. Managing a number of Regional Sales Managers and over 100 commercial
sales agencies throughout North America, Tom still enjoys working face-to-face with all facets of the
specification community. His dedicated work ethic has propelled his efforts to make hundreds of
exciting and informative presentations annually throughout the US and Canada. His vast experience in
manufacturing, marketing and sales gives him a unique and thorough understanding of the specification
process. Tom is a natural-born leader with an unassuming manner and quick wit. As a people person,
Tom is an interesting and compelling speaker who interjects humor and factual information that is both
informative and entertaining. In early 2024, Tom was promoted to Executive Director of Business
Development, overseeing the Specification channel for both WAC and Modern Forms, as well as
international sales for Schonbek.
